Not trying to make fun of people who have been to a convention for anime or something... or maybe I am.
I'm actually impressed by well done cosplay when I'm not laughing at it, but I'll be surprised if you'll ever find me dressed as anything but myself without kicking and screaming.

Heh, I wouldn't know, but I've often joked with friends about how we see something in an anime or a movie that is totally off the wall or fantastic but is an everyday occurrence in Japan.
